Golden Trumpets in Marble Halls,
Serenading Joyous calls,
Doves swoop down from heaven high,
The sun shines bright in cobalt skies,
The emerald grass and flowing steams,
Light falling down in buttery gleams,
Clocks chiming noon a dozen times,
Calling so sweet in pearling chimes,
Dawn to dusk then stars and moon,
Dusk to dawn and light then noon,
Sparkling seas with crashing waves,
Shining shores with coral caves,
Silver shells with gems embedded,
Boats sailing to the shore they're headed,
Music played on luminescent harps,
Singing in sweet flats and sharps,
The key of D brings sunny days,
The key of A brings full moon rays,
The key of C brings hope and cheer,
The key of B brings love so dear,
Each key and song all sung in tune,
Brings close to the day that ends to soon,
While golden trumpets sound in marble halls,
The sun always so irrevocably falls,
And in the night we lay and rest,
To prepare anew for tomorrow's test.
